New 1417 Market St. owner planning building upgrades

Evan Makovsky, a Denver developer, recently bought 1417 Market Street in downtown Denver with plans to upgrade the space.

The building is an 89-year-old, two-story corner property that is partially occupied by Old Chicago pizza restaurant.  Current plans for the renovations are undetermined.  "We like the location," said Makovsky, of Shames Makovsky Realty Co. "It's purely an investment."
