Exterior renovation complete on future home of Sage Hospitality

The exterir of the historic downtown Denver building, which will be the new headquarters for Sage Hospitality Resources LLC in 2009, is now complete. 

Shames Makovsky Realty Co. of Denver, the owner and redeveloper, had committed to having the work on the exterior finished by Aug. 25 by the beginning of the Democratic National Convention.

Head developer, Evan Makovsky, bought the 48,346-square-foot building in 2007 with plans to convert it to office and retail space.  Part of the financing for the buildings $16.5 million renovation came from New Market Tax Credit financing from the federal government.
